Our 25 ga. 10-Wrap Tattoo Machine Coils were created to provide a balance between strength and cooler operation. Our 25 ga. wound Tattoo Machine coils draw 28% less AMPS while only sacrificing 19% in strength. Drawing less AMPS means a cooler running coil. A cooler running coils provides more consistent performance over prolonged use.
Our superior hand wound tattoo coils have been made right here in our Rockaway NJ USA factory since the late 1970’s. In addition to working with East Coast artists and machine builders “Wally” Walter Moskowitz (S&W Tattoo) and “Big” Joe Kaplan (Kaplan East Coast Tattoo Supply), APW has had the pleasure of dealing with other well known artists, machine builders and machine building and supply companies from AZ to FL.
Note: Since “wraps” are loosely used as a defined term in the industry, we refer to them here only as sales information. You will note that APW also defines the electrical properties that truly define the coil. Number of Turns, Wire Gauge and Resistance which work in concert to determine a coils strength.
